Surfbeach - New Home

Nestled within the coastal landscape of Cape Paterson, this triple storey residence is carefully positioned among native teatree, establishing a strong connection to its beachside setting. The design draws on the familiar language of local surf shacks and weatherboard homes, presenting a relaxed and contextually responsive coastal character.

Arranged vertically to capture elevated views of the ocean, the home maximises its outlook while maintaining a modest presence within the surrounding vegetation. To the rear, a generous living space unfolds with impressive volume, anchored by a mezzanine level and a suspended fireplace that brings both warmth and sculptural focus. The result is a contemporary coastal retreat that balances openness, texture and connection to place.
